Ian is responsible for commercialisation of IP emanating from Stellenbosch University specifically the Faculty of engineering. He helps researchers, who want help, to commercialise their research and innovations. He has 6 years of experience in technology transfer and also he has obtained his RTTP status. He is also registered as a PR Tech Eng with ECSA, and has a keen interest in Engineering especially 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing in which he holds an M.Eng. Furthermore he has 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically design, analysis and advanced manufacturing.
